It was great seeing many of you yesterday or Thursday at Parent Teacher Conferences and hearing stories from you about how well your children have settled in to a new class, are making new friends and are adjusting to the increased demands of grade 3. It's important to me that your child feels this way. Please do not hesitate to contact me to help me if that ever changes.

We like to encourage children to be independent and solve their own problems and forge their own friendships independently, but sometimes they just need a little help!

I had a chance to speak to most of you about making sure you still receive messages from the school office but in case I missed you, here is the message that I was asked to pass on:

The office has sent out an email yesterday at 10:00 am with the subject heading “Weekly Dispatch Sept 25-29”.   If you have not received this email it indicates you have not subscribed to receive non-commercial emails from Ken Taylor School and the CBE.  Please follow the attached link in order to subscribe and stay informed.

When you return to school on Tuesday, please can you make sure the two forms given out at the start of the year in the white envelope have been returned. We like to have the white envelope returned also so we can use it again and be kind to our environment!
